Balpakram Tourist Guide Training
To cater to the demand of the tourists and researchers, local youth from several nearby villages have been trained as the Balpakram Tour Guide. They are now helping the tourists in trekking, sight seeing, research works, camera trapping and other works.
Official Guide Jacket
After the completion of the weeklong tourist guide training in Hatisia, the then Deputy Commissioner of South Garo Hills, Mr. H. B. Marak, IAS, is seen handing over the official neon green tourist guide jackets to Mr. C. G. Momin, the then Range Officer of Balpakram National Park.
Certification of Guides
All the trainees who completed the weeklong tourist guide training in Hatisia is awarded a certificate by the then Deputy Commissioner of South Garo Hills, Mr. H. B. Marak, IAS. in the presence of Mr. C. G. Momin, the then Range Officer of Balpakram National Park, the District Tourist Officer Mr C. B. Sangma and other officials.
